QotD: Sick Day

What's your favorite thing about being sick?

Um, no.  It's being sick.  I don't have a favorite part of it.  If I'm sick enough to call myself sick, then I'm in Hell from my sinuses to my feet, and there isn't one part of that that's good.

Being on the tail end of a minor head cold I just have to say, Buh?
How is there a good thing about being sick, I mean truly sick? I'm with you on this one.

I've been taking MucinexDM for the last couple of days and drinking 2-4 liters of water daily trying to kick this sinus thing I've had. It's made me tired. It's made my nose sore from the tissues, it's made my coworkers cautious. How is there any good in that? Heck, I didn't even get to stay home sick because my company killed the concept of a "sick day" last year.

As a result if I can drag my butt out of bed and off to work, I do.
